My bad…

by @ 5:53 pm. Filed under Featured Blogs, Latest Projects

I have honestly been busy trying to get some crucial things finished for gifts that have absolutely NOTHING to do with scrapbooking!

I finished a pair of socks I started three years ago…my bad.

The socks came from a wonderful pattern, but when I finished the first one, it didn’t fit, so I let it sit for the next few years.

When a friend of mine came over (yet again, another who doesn’t read my blog) about a month ago, she tried it on, and it fit as if it were made for her. Since her birthday is the 23rd of this month, that was incentive enough for me to finish the second sock.

And there it is…completed after so long.

That’s not the only thing I’ve been doing, but it’s all I can show right now. You’ll understand why after the 21st of this month.

…belongs to Myra, who is a Stampin’ Up demonstrator - and she also shares her techniques, in the form of videos, which are so easy to follow.

I love the card she made for their postal carrier, the tutorial on making a bow - okay, I love them all!

Treat yourself by grabbing a cup of coffee and kicking back for a good read with lots of ideas.

That’s what I’ve done and have enjoyed every moment of it!

Too good to pass up:

It has been a long and fascinating week, but I’m finally back to where I can blog again!

This is not a post about scrapbooking, but it does concern another love of mine - history and anything retro. I thoroughly enjoy BOTH of this lady’s blogs. I’m sure you will too!

Kitchen Retro

She has a keen sense of humor that jibes beautifully with the ads/pictures she offers on her blogs. Do go see for yourself - you will find it to be a fascinating trip!
